The 3M PPS 2.0 Starter Kit is an all-in-one solution for measuring, mixing, filtering, and spraying paint materials. This latest version of the PPS system features several improvements, including a quarter-turn locking collar with each lid, a new paint cup design in each kit, and a domed lid design for better spray performance.

Each paint cup has convenient printed-on universal mix ratios for accurate mixing and a clear access window for easy visibility. The built-in 200-micron filter is commonly used for solvent-based paint materials, eliminating the need to mix paint in extra cups and filter it into a paint reservoir.

Unlike conventional aluminum or other metal paint cup systems, the PPS 2.0 system allows you to increase productivity in prep and cleanup time by as much as 50% and use up to 70% less cleaning solvent. The specially designed stainless steel metal adapters enable the use of the PPS 2.0 system with virtually any spray gun.

The Starter Kit includes 1 paint cup, 16 sealing plugs, 6 disposable liners, and 6 disposable lids with a locking collar and 200-micron filter. The Refill Kit includes 16 sealing plugs, 12 disposable liners, and 12 disposable lids with an integrated locking collar and 200-micron filter.

The improved design of the PPS 2.0 system, with the quarter-turn locking collar and built-in fine-mesh 200-micron filter, helps eliminate cross-threading and paint buildup, while the new domed lid shape holds up to 3 ounces of material below the filter, reducing sputter and improving spray performance.

The reusable midi 13.5-ounce hard plastic paint cup with printed-on universal mixing ratios and a clear access window allows for easy visibility and removal of the lid and liner. The system's design allows for consistent spraying at any angle, even upside down, making it suitable for a variety of applications, such as paints, stains, varnishes, basecoats, undercoats, primers, sealers, clear coats, gelcoats, and sprayable adhesives for painting projects like cars, boats, furniture, industrial equipment, home arts, and crafts.
